Hey guys!!
I need help from the Bonfire community. I'm looking for people who use QuickBooks to answer a few questions. If you think you can help, can you email me at wood@fundinggates.com or reply below?

If not, it might be a good idea to give people a general idea of the area your questions fall under as different people may have different levels of expertise. Also wanted to make sure you were aware that there is an online forum that's real helpful here - http://forums.quickbooksusers.com/
Permalink Reply by Meredith Wood on December 3, 2012 at 10:39am Thanks for the link Denise!! I'm just trying to gauge which small business owners use Quickbooks and what their opinion is. Basically, a lot of people seem to use it but hate...curious as to the reasons why!

I currently use it for the services work I do, but eventually I would like to implement some type of CRM to better track the whole customer lifecycle and followup. Would be great if I could find something with integrated shopping cart/billing, too, kinda like a Infusionsoft system, but would prefer an in house system. But not opposed to a cloud service. But even Infusionsoft has it's limitations so not sure what system I really want yet. For now I'm happy with QuickBooks for my accounting system.

We looked at Infusionsoft and liked it a lot. However, I think it requires a hefty time investment upfront to make it worthwhile. Would you use it for marketing too? I think if you just need CRM they might not be the best fit, since they are heavy on marketing automation as well. Do you invoice your customers?

Yes if I rolled out Infusionsoft for myself I would definitely use it for marketing. That's where the power of that app really is. It could even work as strictly a CRM, but that would be a waste of effort with taking advantage of it's tagging capability and marketing power.
Yes I have some I invoice; others on recurring billing.
