"Welcome to the Bonfire, John. That's awesome that you found out about us in your marketing class! Please don't hesitate to let myself or Alyssa know if there is anything we can do to help you be more comfortable here."
Community Manager here at the Bonfire, my first mode of business is to help new members feel comfortable and help small business owners get the most out of their membership.
As founder of High Impact Mom and Henson Consulting, Amanda encounters all sorts of madness as she publishes High Impact Mom, corrals two busy daughters, manages a successful hyper-local digital marketing company, attends college full-time, and occasionally even finds time for a date with her husband. Amanda is a social media addict (follow her on Twitter @HighImpactMom), a compulsive volunteer, and a hard rocking-Jane Austen reading devoted mama...she might also a little bit crazy.

Well, I don't have just one favorite dish. Some of my "crowd favorites" are my dirty rice, roasted spicy cauliflower, spicy fried broccoli and red onions, shrimp & grits, and sweet potato & andouille sausage hash.
Thanks much for the welcome! Just finding my way around while in the midst of website construction (very fortunate to have webmistress friend helping!).
I make contemporary jewelry (mainly Kumihimo) and without really trying, I've gained a high "pinfluence" according to PinPuff. When things calm down I'd like to see if there's anything useful I can do with that score :) I also pin often for conservation causes such as Save the Oceans!. We've got nearly all the zoos, aquariums & conservation orgs lined up to share information, fundraising etc. to raise awareness of our planetary crisis.
I'm a newbie tweeter, still figuring out how to manage 2 accounts (I prefer to keep biz & greenie causes separate). Working up the courage to face up to FB which I quit in disgust several years ago due to excessive zombie bites, virtual cocktails and 5 star restaurant reviews (that I could never visit :). But, sigh, the FB is on my list. Anybody have a current "facebook biz pages for dummies" guide? I gather they've changed recently.
Finally, I wonder if anyone has advice on designing a logo? I have a basic idea but my graphics skills are out-of-date.
