5 Web-based Apps to Help You Conquer Your To-Do List

Disorganization is one of the biggest time and profit killers for small business owners, and if you’re anything like me, you’ve spent hours trying to find the right web-based tool to solve your task management woes.

But rest assured that there are programs out there to help you stay on track and manage your tasks.  The following 5 Apps are web-based, giving you the added benefit of being able to access them on any device wherever you have a wifi or data connection.

1. GQueues
Developed on the Google platform, GQueues provides seamless integration with Gmail and Google Calendar.  A variety of other features are also available as well, such as reminders, tags, collaboration, etc.  The fully featured GQueues costs $25 per year, but a lite version is available at no cost.

2. Remember the Milk

Remember the Milk is full-featured Task Management App. What makes this program special is it’s availability.  It’s mobile app is available for iOS, Android and Blackberry, and RTM can be integrated with many other programs and apps such as Microsoft Outlook, Twitter, Google Calendar, Siri, and Gmail.  Basic and Pro versions are available.


3. Wunderlist
Wunderlist has a clean and easy style that makes it easy to use.  Best of all, it’s free.  While it may not be as feature-rich as some of its competitors, it offers a simple interface, reminders, shortcut keys, collaboration with others, and the ability to sync between devices.  As far as free apps go, Wonderlist comes in near the top.



4. Vital!st
Are you a fan of the GTD (Getting Things Done) philosophy?  If so, then this is the app for you.  Vital!st focuses on actions, projects and contexts, and is available on iPhone and other mobile devices.  IT also offers integration with Twitter, Google Calendar, Etc.  Free version is available. Paid version offers upgrades such as projects, sharing and file attachments.



5. Hitask
Hitask offers a full variety of task and project management tools for individuals and groups.  Features include drag-and-drop functionality, task delegation, file sharing, time tracker, etc.  Hitask offers several different packages, so there’s something for everyone.
