I just got done switching from using Google for visitors searching my site to DuckDuckGo. It's a cooler name, and doesn't keep users data.

I don't think so.  Because Google and Bing keep track of past searches, two people who search the exact same thing aren't going to get the same results. DDG doesn't do that.  I'd have to sit down with a fresh install of a browser and compare the two.  I know for a lot of the stuff I'm seraching for (server error messages) Google has been getting less and less useful.  I also notice I get really old results in Google.

I'll know more in a week or so after using it exclusively.  Blekko is another one if you're interested in trying new stuff.  It's a totally open source engine as far as I know.

First time I've heard of it. I like the clean interface. Have you noticed if it gives you the same type of results as Google and Bing?
